Food was horrible

The food is always bad here. Have been served rancid bamboo (which for the lucky who have never experienced it reeks like urine). Tried eating in for dinner, take out for lunch and take out dinner and had bad experiences each time.

Wonderful place with great portion sizes! Love the hot tea that is served with the meals. Even though they were busy with it being Valentine's day they did a wonderful job of getting our food to us in a timely fashion and checked on us regularly.

Only been here once so things could definately improve. Staff were attentive, kind and polite, take out was prepared in the expected time. Eggs rolls were very good. Had the Curry Chicken with steamed rice. Was good but left me a bit disappointed. Curry chicken (in my opinion) was overloaded with veggies and short on chicken. Curry was spicy but there was just not enough. Still looking for a good curry dish in St Joe.

This is clearly one of the most attractive place in the region. Every time I come there I am greatly pleased. They preserve their high level service and the highest level of cooking they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this place. Warmly recommended.

The only reason they get even one star is for their service on the phone and at the drive-through window other than that order not good food not good portions horrible will not recommend will never go back

I wouldn't even give this places a star this was the worst food I've ever ate in my life I oder cashew chicken It literally smelled like pee I also ordered shrimp fried rice it was burnt to pieces couldn't even eat it. When we call to get our money back they told us we were talking down to them because of how their food tasted. Get better.

Food was hot, flavorful, and plentiful—don’t forget your appetite. I’m a big guy and couldn’t finish it. Staff is incredibly attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. Menu substitutions are encouraged as the staff went out of their way to customize our order. Price was very reasonable for the large portions. A must visit if your a resident or just passing thru.

Ordered delivery from here and they didnt even give me the rice! And too try and fix it they offer extra rice on my next order what a joke.

Really good food at an interesting location. Parking is good, but getting in and out of the location is a challenge. They do not hover you as often as expected, so if you need a refill of water you may need to get their attention.

Great food. Not a huge menu selection but reasonable. My waiter was exceptional! Loved the Won Ton soup!

There are open despite the closing of all restaurants, not the dining area but they will run food out to your car and they are very fast also

Garlic Chicken prepared exactly as I asked and then extra jalapeno and red pepper brought out with my meal. The new tea was much better than previous, a great change as far as I'm concerned.Staff was very attentive to our tables need and keeping drinks refilled. 5 star meal today !!!!!

Great family atmosphere. They are always friendly and offer amazing service. They also make the best egg drop soup I’ve had. You also have the choice to order anything as spicy(or not spicy) as you would like, I like the variety! My wife and I have been customers for years and we will continue to be customers for years!!

A favorite place from my youth. Hubby and i stopped in. Menu is a little changed but definately reminiscent of the past.

Family owned, great service and great food. I love the cashew chicken. Lunch meals also come with soup hot tea, crab rangoon or egg roll. Basically there is no way.wou could leave hungry.

Great food and atmosphere, they make you feel comfortable and the portions you get are very big. Decently priced and delicious. They also deliver so it's a big plus if you don't want to leave the house.

Hunan Restaurant has the best Chinese food in town! They always provide amazing customer service and fantastic quality. They are my go to place for my Chinese food fix! And all they do to support their community is absolutely unparalleled!

The employees seemed nice, delivery was quick, and the amount of food was generous. The issue of why I give 2 stars is that the food I got was tasteless to me, and lacked meat. I ordered Mongolian Pork, but the meat was shredded so fine that it was barely noticeable among all the rest of the stuff thrown in. I would be willing to try them again on another day though. Order something else next time.

Blah food. Server touching fork by tongs. Just not good.

Food was not fresh. We had three people in our party, Each meal was served about 5 minutes apart on iced plates. Our server was gracious and proficient at her job.

Closed on Sunday. Went to Olive Garden instead.

Not impressed. Tried it, as my normal place is closed for remodeling. Fried rice was cold and crunchy. Tasted like it was made a couple days ago. Hot and sour soup is nothing more than egg drop soup with pepper sauce added. $2 for a shot of soup.

Very good food. The Orange chicken was delicious.

Very disappointed. We ordered delivery tonight spent almost $70 and hardly anything was edible. Nothing had any flavor. Food was cold. This is the first and only time I will order from this Hunan. The driver was nice. I am so disappointed because we love the Hunan's in Cameron.

Dirty spoon with the silverware but those things happen.... really cozy place on a cold night. Service was prompt and friendly. I had the General Tso chicken. In my opinion the chicken was well prepared but the sauce appeared to be either old or just too thick - too heavy. Otherwise the wonton soup was really good with a monster dumpling.

Love, love, love this restaurant. In my opinion they have the absolute best egg rolls anywhere in town.The price and service are great. We've never had a issue in 14 years going here. Great restaurant and people who run it. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who love Chinese.

Good service and good food.

They are very willing to make changes and make everything to your specifications. I've ordered many times with so many modifications I was basically making up my own recipe and never heard any complaints or had them get it wrong. I recommend orange chicken and pepper steak. Some of the staff has been there forever and some has more frequent turn-over, but they are always great. The prices are very good and the service is pretty quick at lunch. The hours are the only draw-back, if you decide you want a late lunch or early dinner there's a little window in the afternoon that they close.

Ordered tonight and I'm pretty sure I just fell in love with the Chef and Delivery Guy. The food is mind and Mouth delicious and the delivery guy was so prompt it is perfect temp!!

Best Asian food in St. Joe

Always love Hunans. Great people. They even worked with my son who has to eat gluten free. We've gone there for over 20 years.
